BOCCIA by DevCroesus

PRIVACY & CONTACT

Your playtest information

DevCroesus uses your email, display name, club and optional application details to review requests, verify access and coordinate the Boccia playtest. Browser access records help enforce expiry and the two-browser limit.

Approved testers can see player names and club labels. Email addresses and application details are visible only to the owner and the services needed to operate the preview and deliver email.

Playtester feedback

Anyone can submit feedback without applying for preview access. Visitor submissions are reviewed by DevCroesus before appearing on the approved tester board. Shared reports, replies and display names are visible to approved testers and the owner. Private reports and their replies are visible only to the signed-in author and the owner; private visitor submissions are owner-only. Private reports cannot be published to the shared board.

Reports include your browser at submission, the current website game version, and any device details you choose to provide. An optional visitor contact email is visible only to the owner for follow-up and never subscribes you to news. Owner email notifications contain a sign-in link to the report rather than its contents. Please avoid personal information in shared feedback.

Watching online games

Online matches allow observers by default. Before readiness, private hosts can turn this off; public matches require both players to allow it. A listed match shares player display names, the court, score and live aim, elevation and power with approved viewers. This setting stays locked during play. Players can see observer names. Observers use their own cameras and cannot control the match; the owner has the same viewing permissions.

Preview connection diagnostics

All approved preview testers are subject to automatic connection diagnostics during online sessions, including retained menus and replay. Reports include build, browser family/version, operating-system family, room/seat/peer identifiers, connection and browser lifecycle events, packet timing and frame performance. They are associated with your tester account and visible only to the owner. We do not collect game packet contents, credentials, player names or raw connection URLs in these reports.

Unsent diagnostic events may remain in this tab’s browser storage for up to 24 hours, capped at 1 MiB. Uploaded reports expire after seven days, with older events removed sooner if storage limits are reached. Actual release builds and the public demo disable this diagnostic capture and upload.

Service providers

The preview website and access records are hosted on DigitalOcean. Brevo delivers access emails and receives the recipient address and message needed for delivery.

Email choices

Newsletter signup is optional and separate from testing. We record your confirmed choice and its wording. You can unsubscribe from marketing without losing approved preview access. Necessary access messages remain separate.

Retention

Unverified requests are removed after 7 days. Declined, revoked and expired tester records are removed after 90 days unless needed to resolve an access issue. Newsletter subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe; a minimal suppression record is retained to avoid signing you up again accidentally. Saved gameplay replays remain in your own browser or device.

Unreviewed visitor reports are removed after 90 days, and visitor contact emails are cleared after 90 days. Reviewed reports and discussions are kept for development; when a tester account is removed, its author label becomes Former tester. Contact DevCroesus to request removal of feedback or personal information in a report.

Browser storage

Essential secure cookies remember your sign-in and protect forms. The game separately stores local settings and replays on your device. To speed up repeat visits, the preview can also keep game files in your browser. It checks access online before reusing those files; clearing site data removes them. This service does not add advertising trackers.
